Here Is My Conviction To Find Strength In God

B Temp

There was a time when I thought strength meant never breaking down. I believed that if I could hold everything together, somehow I would be okay. But when life began to fall apart, I learned something different. Real strength does not come from pretending to be strong. It comes from admitting that you can’t do it on your own and letting God carry you.

Here is my conviction: all true strength comes from Him. Every single bit of it.

I came to this conviction through experience, not theory. When pain and exhaustion became too heavy to bear, I found myself crying out to God from a place of complete surrender. I had nothing left to give, no words that could make sense of what I was feeling. But in that stillness, God met me. His presence did not erase my struggles, but it gave me the strength to face them.

Faith does not mean we are immune to hardship. It means we have a source of strength that never runs dry. When we trust in God, we find the courage to keep moving even when we don’t know the way. We find peace in the middle of chaos and hope in the middle of loss. That is not something the world can offer. That is something only God can give.

The Bible says in Psalm 46:1, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Those words became real to me when I had nowhere else to turn. I used to read them as comfort. Now I read them as truth. God’s strength is not a promise for someday—it is available right now, in every breath and every prayer.

In Through the Pain: A Journey of Healing and Faith, I share how God’s strength became the thread that held me together. There were moments when I thought I could not go on, but each time, His strength showed up in new ways. Sometimes it was a calm in my spirit when everything else felt out of control. Sometimes it was the gentle reminder that I was loved even when I felt forgotten. And sometimes it was the courage to take one more step, even when I was tired of walking.

If you are struggling to find strength today, I want to share what I have learned. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You don’t have to be brave every second. Just be willing to reach for God. Let Him be your strength. The world will tell you to depend on yourself, but I am here to tell you that depending on Him is where freedom begins.

My conviction is simple: life without God’s strength leaves you empty, but life with Him gives you everything you need to endure. He doesn’t promise that the storms will stop, but He promises to stand in them with you. And sometimes, that is the greatest strength of all.

If you want to know more about this journey of surrender and strength, I invite you to read Through the Pain: A Journey of Healing and Faith. My story is one of weakness met by God’s power, of fear met by faith, and of pain transformed by love. I pray that my story will help you find the same strength that carried me through.
